Hello! It's been so long. I'm sorry for the wait. Just been busy living and working... same old. I also took two amazing trips a few weekends back. Hopefully I'll get around to posting about them someday.
This is going to be quite a mish-mash little post. Just wanted to catch up on some pictures and little things that happened at the end of August.
These are a few more from the leaving party of Jason and Yvonne. I'm sitting next to Beccy who was my training teacher when I first arrived. She is awesome. I really love Beccy and am so grateful I was able to learn from her how to handle a class and pass my teaching evaluation.
Next up was my first team meal. I was put with Baby 5 and after I passed the evaluation we all went out to dinner together. It was quite a strange little restaurant. Themed like an airplane?
Da Lou Laoshi (or Teacher Laura) is in charge of health and hygiene in our classroom. I have so much respect for this woman and I love her so much. Our limited communication and conversation is something to laugh at tho…
Bonnie is the teaching assistant in our class. She helps me and our Chinese teacher during lessons and does all the English and Chinese translations. WOW! She does a lot.
Paula is our class' Chinese teacher. She is really chill and I'm glad she has so much teaching experience to help me out!
One weekend I went out with another American foreign teacher and Laura and we got some Indian food for lunch and then had some tea at a nice tea place afterward. It was nice to just chat and reminisce together.
The tea was really beautiful!

On another weekend I went out with a few younger Chinese teachers for karaoke. It's called KTV in China and is one of the biggest pasttimes here I think. The KTV place was very strange and fancy inside. It was a really rainy day so I think it was a good way to kind of waste the day together.
At the end of August I also said goodbye to my first apartment. I still kind of miss that solo little room.
