Near the end of August I had the opportunity to go with Laura and her boyfriend to Zhuhai. It was a small, weird starup kind of city. Everything was very new, but it did have some nice beaches and tourist areas. We only did a weekend, but it was a good time.
First things first: getting a mango smoothie.
The beaches were really nice with really scratchy sand.
We ate at this café right on the beach for breakfast that had nice toast and coffee.
A couple of snaps I got of the nighttime when we first arrived...
And this was our hotel. Very fancy. Huge waterfall over the outside... big beds.... enormous lobby.
This is the fisherwoman statue... IDK. It was pretty cool.
I also checked out the museum they had in town. It was small, but had a few cool things.
Then I went to the biggest park in the city and checked out the lakes there.
The last thing I did was sit in the sand and read my book. It was a pretty great day.
Next morning after some waffles I took a little hike to see the view of the whole city and took my leave. Bye bye Zhuhai.
