So I'm finally updating this blog with some of the places I've been to. The first weekend I was here, I walked across the city to this cool little park. The other foreign teachers call it "The lakes". It's real name is Leigang Park. It's just in the middle of all the urbanity. It's pretty big and winding. It follows a small river and pools into different lakes. At one end, there's a huge hill with a big temple-structure on top. It doesn't have much inside, a few museum pieces on Cantonese culture and art, but mostly it's just an excuse to hike up it and see the view of the city. Below are the pics.
